Keynoting at Tiger Brands Leadership Conference

Thanks for visiting my site. If we’ve never met, I’m the founder and CEO of Cerebra, a company that specialises in social media and social business consulting, education and implementation for corporate brands. In 2013 WPP acquired a majority stake in Cerebra.

I use this site to share ideas, projects and learnings, and also to hear from interesting people like you.

In 2014 I published #BrandSchizo – business book designed to help brands navigate the opportunities and challenges of the social era of business. If you’re interested in finding out more about my talks and presentations this is the place. If you saw me speak and would like to leave a testimonial I’d appreciate your feedback.

When I’m not working, I’m golfing, drumming, fishing, running, cycling, swimming or spending time with family and friends.

What Clients Say...

I’ve known Mike Stopforth for the past decade and on a dozen occasions or more he’s addressed various events my company hosts in the media and brand communications space. In a sea of mediocre speakers, Mike is one of a kind. His subject knowledge is encyclopaedic relevant and cutting edge, he adds huge value to the digital and social media debate.

I saw Mike speak at Future of Media conferences.

Mike’s participation at Tribe Thursday made the event! If you’re looking for a razor-sharp intellect who is not shy to mix it up and really get people thinking then Mike’s the man! Unconventional, outspoken, lateral, and thoroughly entertaining Mike’s speaker debate at Tribe Thursday ensured we had the jagged edge to keep people talking!

Mike did a fantastic job entertaining our delegates at our annual conference. Our group is made up of internet entrepreneurs from all over the continent who are already doing a lot on social media. Mike did a great job of communicating the point that it is the message that matters and not the medium. I would have no problem recommending him.
