We chanced there on Saturday night, and an amazing 6 piece Jazz band was playing. Called the RESTLESS NATIVES, they place Jazz standards, in a traditional style. The beers that are presented seem to be hand chosen by the owner, Rui, and bottled and labelled to his specification. The white and the dark are German. he also does the same with some wierd Portuguese beers. he has turned th whole beer experience on it's head. he treats it like champagne, and presents it as such. the bottles are amazing, the presentation is slick, the glasses are lovely. It is a 100% quality experience, end to end It is not cheap by SA standards, but when you throw in the excellent band ( no cover charge ), the free snacks, the wonderful experience, and all the interesting people, it is well worth it. totally sold on this place, will make sure to go back soon.
