MIH Print Africa Acquires A Stake In Afrigator.com

I’m pretty chuffed to announce today after nearly a year of discussions and negotiations that MIH Print Africa, a division of Naspers, has successfully acquired a stake in Afrigator.com, one of my projects.

Charl broke the story minutes ago, and the details are at the Afrigator blog, as always, but the highlights you should know are that Justin and Stii are relocating to Cape Town to work in our new offices, Lester has joined the team as employee no. 1 (welcome bro!), and that you can expect even more exciting changes and developments on the site in the near future.

I want to say a personal thank you to Justin, Stii and Mark for being an awesome team to work with, the MIH guys for having faith in our product and to you all of you for helping make Afrigator a compelling platform to play with!

Mr. Stopforth! All is now revealed. You weren’t zizzing under that copy of Maverick after all. You were probing deeply, the inside secrets on mergers, acquisitions and take-overs.

I’ll warn Google and the JSE that the sleeping giant has awakened

Will the CEO be flying biz class to Slaapstad to chivvy up the troops, d’ya think? ;-)

    Mazeltov and well-deserved.
