Paul Graham has mentioned dating before in his essays, and I think he&#039;s right about it, and also about auctions, and even also about photo and video sharing.  AltaVista looked fairly unassailable before Google stole their entire userbase over a short period of time - by connecting people to what they wanted better.  Dating and auction are also a form of search...</description>
