I Need Pentium 4’s - Please!
Yes, it’s an odd request, but I have a good mate who is driving a very worthy project called Siyakhula (we are growing) that seeks to offer basic PC and Office instruction at a drastically reduced rate to disadvantaged communities, and he needs about 25 decent PC’s.
With an 8 year track record, Siyakhula is focussed on empowering the surrounding under-resourced and under-served community through educational initiatives. A core component of this mission has been the development of basic computer literacy skills offered as a stepping stone towards further employment, learnerships or entrepreneurial opportunities.
Now I’m sure one of you out there works for a company, or knows someone, or something, that disposes of older PC’s and could spare a few toward this awesome project. Please mail me if you do. If you cannot help with PC’s but can perhaps contribute an hour or two of your time per week to training Siyakhula students, why not consider that as a way to give back? Let me know if you can help - thanks guys.

I would really like to get involved in helping these guys out and take you up on the offer of a few hours a week. I have been looking for other ways to give a little besides the usual and mostly unforfilling money donations. Please let me know who I should contact.
