Cape Town 27dinner At Wild Fig
A short post to say thanks for Dave and the rest of the Cape Town geeks for welcoming me at the 27dinner - despite a really negative experience of Kulula (which broke my heart ‘cos I’m a big fan) at O R Tambo, it turned out to be a really awesome evening.
I sat at a little table at the Wild Fig with Foxinni, Charl Norman (who also kindly let me crash at his place) and The BAGLEY.
Adii was the only speaker on the night, besides Graham who helped us understand a bit better the Own a Vine, Save a Job scheme (go Stormhoek!). I must confess Adii’s was the most compelling, relevant and interesting talk I’ve heard at a 27dinner in ages - Adii go you good thing! This man deserves all the good things coming his way.
All in all a cool evening, looking forward to Jozi in March!!!

Sheesh bud - thanks for the very kind words indeed!
Much appreciated, coming from an established and successful new media evangelist like yourself. And kudo’s for flying down specially for the dinner - show commitment!
Mike, that picture is BRILLIANT!
Good to see you in the beautiful city with the mountain for a change:-p
Time to move to Cape Town Mike…
@Adii - it was my pleasure.
@Dave - credit to Charl for that one - I was pretty stoked with it too
@Eric - pffft.
Was a fantastic surprise seeing you! Hope you had a great trip.
Aaah, you got my name right!
Was awesome to meet Dave and you for the 1st time, being a 27 dinner virgin myself. Also had some very interesting and thought provoking topics to chat about. Looking forward to the next get together!

It was great seeing you there Mike. I really admire the fact that you took the time out to fly down for the dinner, despite everything else you’re juggling at the moment!
Scott and I will come and join you for a Jo’burg 27 Dinner some time soon.
