Some overseas speakers would be good. Check the Design Indaba (http://designindaba.com) to see how it should be done.

Not that local isn’t lekker, but it isn’t enough and especially not at that fairly hefty cost. The Design Indaba’s fees are half that. It has always featured prominent overseas speakers.

Some good suggestions here Mike. Permanent, reliable and free WiFi access is crucial, together with enough plugpoints for laptops (Louise from Bizcommunity could write a thesis on this requirement alone!).

Please could you send us a 60sec video clip – content is up to you; all it needs to do is introduce Mike Stopforth the man, the business, the ideas and the topics you’ll be discussing in your talk at the conference. No pressure :) We’ll need it by end of Feb asseblief.

Looking forward to catching up again. Will try pack some Cape Town electricity with us when we come.
