Highlights from the 3rd session, first morning session on day 2…

1. BitGravity

Affordable, high-definition video live. A Flash-based service for big media and the enterprise.

2. Xtranormal

High novelty component animation publishing tool (can create and animate Avatar with text instructions) for a range of uses.

3. HubDub

News aggregation meets prediction markets. I feel like there’s an enterprise application for HubDub - possibly even more so than for the general crowd…

4. YouChoose

Turns the comments section of your blog into a traffic-generating discussion forum. That’s what I understood from the presentation, but it’s not what I understand from their website.

5. Redux

A social network that introduces users to socially-relevant contacts. The site’s algorithm pulls metadata from profiles, event information, etc. to provide users with relevant results. Relevancy score a bit like ‘Google page rank for humans’. I really want to go play with this.

6. Visible Measures

Great product, super presentation. This is a metrics service for online video viewership behaviour, location and more. Simple and powerful. Amazing potential for agencies and brands.

7. good2gether

Connecting people with causes (NGO’s):

* Nonprofits leverage free traffic
* Media partners get local content and fresh ad revenue
* Sponsors deliver their social responsibility messaging in a targeted, scalable fashion
* People get an easy way to discover, share, and engage with causes
