Hi Mike and Henre,

Thanks for the kind comments regarding the design. We had a very tight time frame and budget and are proud with the execution.

Great points above but unfortunately we cannot take credit for all of the work. Clickthinking were responsible for the design and html construction. However the Supersport web team manage the databases, technical infrastructure (including the zones) e.t.c. They are great to work with, very capable and are excellent at managing content and the syndication thereof.

Regarding the www or not configurations. We do ensure that both are enabled with all our clients websites. With Supersport, we do not host the zones but have been in discussion with the Supersport technical team and hopefully this will be resolved shortly.

With video and You Tube, Supersport have invested heavily in infrastructure and have had to take local bandwidth restrictions into account. I would also think there would be copyright and broadcasting restrictions placed on where the content can appear so You Tube would possibly not be an option.

I have recently spent some time on their new site as well (been a frequent visitor in the past, but time has not been in my side of late). I was very impressed with the new design etc as you mentioned.

I would just like to second your point #3. In a youtube dominant world it would make much more sense for them to utilise the opportunity and score some free traffic.

I've been a very long and loyal visitor and contributor on the keo.co.za website and have made a substantial amount of friends through it as well. If there's anything rugby related I'm interested in I know keo or my friends will have it covered.

I'd even suggest partnering with keo. they have the community and supersport has the business model to commercialise the effort without disturbing the social setup.

Mike, what do you think?
