Report Back On 27 Dinners
For the first time on Friday night Cerebra hosted 27 Dinners in two major South African cities simultaneously (Jozi and Durban). I really hope this is a sign of things to come and that as we hear murmurings and rumours of 27 being taken abroad to London and San Francisco that soon we’ll be hosting dinners on the same night all around the globe.
I was at the Jozi gig and Dave helped out at Durbs, but quite frankly we didn’t need to be there. Kwame Mdaka and Marc Forrest were brilliant in their organisation of the respective events.
Next month Pretoria and Cape Town happen at the same time - it would be great to see some Jozi regulars add their names to the Pretoria list to help get it going - if we can do half as good a job as Durbz did we’ll be spot on.
Also, if you’re based in a slightly removed part of the world (i.e. a place where we are not currently hosting a dinner) and would like to join the movement, let us know so we can give you some props.

Dammit, I missed it! I will have to go beyond the boerewors curtain and attend the PTA one.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to organise here in Durbz. We had an awesome time, and I’m pretty sure its gonna only get better
It would be soo awesome if there was a 27 Dinner overseas as well. It could really turn out to be an amazing movement.
We should come up with a slogan for the 27 Dinner, like “27 Dinner: Tell us what you’re passionate about” (And have that guy who does the EA Games slogan say it and record it
And perhaps have streaming video from the different locations broadcast to the other 27 Dinners. So if Pretoria and Cape Town are hosted at the same time then have a live video stream from the Pretoria talks shown to Cape Town and vice versa.
Ok, enough going off my rocker there.
