Help! Calling All Video Guru’s
Ok so the other night I was a guest on CNBC Africa. I didn’t really let everyone know because television is not my favourite medium by a long shot (I have a face for radio) and so if it was a terrible interview I could simply pretend it never happened.
As it happens, though, the interview went pretty well. I got my folks to record it with their home DVD recorder, and I now want to pop the file online. Stuck. The current file format is a DVD format. There’s a folder titled DVD_RTAV containing two files, one called VR_MANGR.IFO and the other VR_MOVIE.IFO. Puhleaaase tell me how to convert these so I can upload them to YouTube and some local video sites?

Download Handbrake and it will rip the video from the disc into a combination of video formats which you can then upload.
I will agree with Paul. This is probably the easiest of all the software out there, and it’s free. I use it on a Mac, but it is available for Windows and Linux.
