Ochman Has A Go At Bullard
Even BL Ochman, respected US blogging maven and marketing guru, has taken on David Bullard after his rant about bloggers in the Sunday Times. Well done on going global, Dave!

Man O man! Methinks WAY too may people were suckered into snapping at David Bullard’s luminescent lure. And they’ve landed up looking and sounding like right royal asses in the process. Tweakin’ the pussycat’s tail, it’s called!
On a more serious note, many anal print journos and book publishers alike, are aghast that we philistines who didn’t graduate from the former ‘Argus school of journalism’, enjoy an unfettered ‘voice’. Without the predations of a nit-picky sub-editor into the bargain! Tough on them and their unremittingly boring, self-indulgent and narcissistic columns! Blah.

Yep, it’s great linkbait. Even though it’s negative publicity, google will still push sundaytime’s pagerank up.

[...] On May 8th Mike Stopforth ran in excitedly from the playground claiming that I had even offended an A-Lister called B L Ochman. I immediately went to “her” blog and fell in love with her. I asked my friends in the CIA to arrange a meeting and……shock, horror…..they tell me she doesn’t exist outside the realm of fantasy. They said that B L Ochman was a pseudonym and the nearest you could get to BLOgman without actually giving the game away to people as gullible as Mike. I’m devastated but I was just suffering from BlogLust and I’ll get over that. Mike, meanwhile, has to find a whole new belief system. Maybe the Rev Maher can offer succor to a member of his church! Did you read Fred Khumalo’s column at the weekend? He also finds the blogosphere about as fascinating as driving a Tata Indica.
