Hey! Good news from the Cherryflava media company - the all new, all shiny SA Blog Awards for 2007 site is up and running (no small thanks to the Rafiq and Miguel, my two fav Web AddiCTs).

This is a significant landmark, I believe, for the SA blogging community. I sort of feel that we’re growing up. We’re not any less interesting, fun or progressive than before, but we’re bigger, louder and far more influential than ever before.

It is an ever-increasing reality and I love it. We’ve grown exponentially, maybe not in numbers but certainly relationally. Funny how what was a predominantly fragmented, fringe community last year this time has become a tight, networked hub of activity, commerce, friendship and potential.

Nifty beans.
