I am a High School graduate, with qualification also in Computer Graphics and also computer hardware, I also took the opportunity provided by the internet to study into GCSE ICT (General Certificate of Secondary Education, UK) I am from Ghana, and for couple of weeks now I and some colleagues of mine have been fighting to introduce the use of internet into our basic and community schools and to eradicate the Internet fraud menace engulfing our youth and in my schools. About only 5% of Ghanaian have access to the internet. Within this cycle of percentage of Ghanaian using the internet almost 98 % of them are teens and youth and almost 96% are engage in internet fraud, as a result of this- they could not access the vast educational opportunities offered by the internet. We started in some of the Basic and High schools in my communities and we truly need assistance in terms of laptops with wireless equipment so that we can be able to use the internet in educational institutions that do not have access to the internet and computers. We are not only targeting the eradication of the menace, No' but we hope to introduce internet to the people where they can enhance their learning abilities and also make the internet business friendly for the coming youths.
