Well all I can say is this gives Sam the perfect opportunity to start his own UK publication and brand while taking some of Techcrunch's UK readers with him.

Very interesting reads, both sides. I must say my opinion has changed of Mike A.

Mike Butcher, Paul Walsh and Sam Sethi look like they have brought the real story to the table.

[...] Mike posted his thoughts about the TechCrunch UK debacle. Suffice to say, he is not impressed with either Mike Arrington’s or Sam Sethi’s handling of the whole affair. Basically what happened is that Sethi published a post on TechCrunch UK about the recent Le Web 3 event and about some comments Sethi made about Loic LeMeur’s involvement in that event. Shel Israel has listed some of the "lowlights" that gave rise to the furor: [...]

I don't doubt yor motives, but you may like to reference Sethi's comment on that CrunchNotes post. I also don't think this is 50/50 (interest declared: I know Sam). Despite all the slagging and differencs of opinion, only Arrington has resorted to publishing private correspondence and outright libel.
