Jo’s Toolkit

I met two inspiring young talents at the recent Digital Citizen’s Indaba on BloggingCarly Ritz and Gregor Rohrig. They’ve created a really nifty online resource called Jo’s Toolkit – an ‘essential journalism toolkit for student and grassroots journalists’.

The site recently won the non-profit category in the Highway Africa New Media Innovation Awards for their efforts and has been enthusiastically received both locally and internationally. It’s aimed at student media practitioners and is a wealth of information, resources, tips and hints for the media inclined. I’d go so far as to say that it’s a rocking good resource if you’re interested in new media at all – student or not.

Well done guys!
