Brick Walls and Yindees

Undoubtedly the highlight of my long overdue trip to Cape Town yesterday and today was a dinner with my (up until very recently) digital friends at Yindees yesterday evening.

I learnt some stuff.

Tania loves Bladerunner and her dad is in the amateur porn business.

Rafiq suffers from OCP – Obsessive Compulsive Photography – and does not feel Thai pain.

Max Kaizen and Dave Duarte are siblings, which is fundamentally wrong as so much creativity, generosity and sheer brilliance should never be squeezed into just one family! :)

Warren and I are identical twins seperated at birth. This I know, as we think mekaar. Warren and I will, somewhere along the line, make millions together.

I have my suspicions about Miguel, because no human being can possibly be that nice all the time :).

The same goes for Conrad, but in this case because no human being can be that smart…

In summary I learnt that brick walls can’t inspire brick walls. Humans who don’t want to be energised and inspired, well, won’t be. But those who do will seek out those who can. And when the two get together, magic happens.

The bangladeshi tikka place around the corner from my spot has made me imune to any form of spicyness :) I love Ahmed’s Chicken morethan the peri-peri shigen.

I eat the bangladeshi tikka shigen & climb to the top of google …

There is one tomato dish that kills me though, my girlfriend’s mom’s (who cooks great food btw) tomato bredie. Eeek

The amateur porn business?! And how about showing off your naked family pics to your business associates? I think it might help to state things in context, don’t you?
