Visiting Rafiq
Seeing as he’d made the trip all the way up to Jozi for the National Innovation Competition Exhibition, I thought it only right to pay Rafiq a visit at the Theatre on the Track in Kyalami.

We spoke a bit about corporate blogging, the new Flock web browser, Rafiq’s impressive iDrive.co.za web project and other arb stuff.
The Innovation Competition as a little underwhelming - I expected it to be a bit larger, but as Rafiq pointed out this was the final. There had been provincial stages to work through too. Apparently the winners walk away with R300k - that’s pretty nifty tom.
Well, Rafiq and Miguel, the blogger from Benoni wishes you the very best of luck and expects at least R5k in return for the links :).
Keep up the good work guys.

That’s rafiq & miguel’s project. We didn’t win but ALL top3spots we’re taken by peeps from the Cape! Told you
Decided2xtend my stay in jozi by a few days… Spend time with the1that inspires me.
Cool, well let us know if you’re free and we’ll treat you to a beer
Don’t do alcohol. Will shout when free
Oh and apologies Miguel
I don’t do alcohol, orange juice? All that mattered for the days after the exhibition was quality time with my girlfriend. When you’re in Cape Town give us a shout. Still awaiting your mail Mr Stop4th.
[...] Who is Mike Stopforth? The guy that blogs about caffeine over at moneyweb. We chatted about tomorrow, today, MXit and alot of other Arb thoughts. [...]
Hehe, in the olden days people liked being seen at certain parties, night clubs, and (yaaaaaaaawn!) in the social pages of Cape Style Magazine. All that is very unfashionable these days. Nowadays you get your endorsement of coolness by being featured in Mike Stopforth and Dave Duarte’s blogs!
Eish, now that’s a scary reality.
Me ys ja, met ys.
